Individual Therapy

In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, you can confidentially talk about your full range of emotions, experiences, and the challenges of living without being rushed or judged. Because true and lasting change can occur only if it’s addressed on mind, body, and spirit levels, I offer an integrative approach. During a highly customized session tailored to your needs, I pay attention to your whole self - your body (postures, breathing patterns and movements), mind (emotional states and thought patterns) and spirit. I will also attend to your experiences in the present moment. You may be encouraged to pay attention to your feelings, sensations, breathing, non-verbal and habitual patterns to help you learn more about yourself and access your inner wisdom as you work on the areas where you thrive and struggle.

Together, we will identify and challenge old, limiting beliefs, and how your habitual strategies and patterns that might have been useful in the past may be preventing you from living a more satisfying life. We will work collaboratively to foster adaptive change, experimenting with new patterns and ways of being both in and out of session. This process opens the door to a more positive relationship with yourself, more genuine connections with others and, in general, a more authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

Sessions may include times of discussion, collaboration, silence, creative expression, somatic (body) awareness, mindfulness and reflection.

In addition to adults, I also work with children and adolescents. Depending on their age and needs, I engage with my clients through expressive arts and play, nurturing their innate creativity and spontaneity to work through difficult emotions and heal from trauma. They will be supported in developing self-worth, capacity and life skills to navigate the often-challenging process of growing up.
